Modified Nationals 2006 - 3rd June 2006 - Rockingham Motor Circuit, Corby

Another year and another venue for Modified Nationals, this time at Rockingham Motor Circuit near Corby. The organisation was a bit of a shambles though as I literally went in without having to show my ticket/press pass at all, so I wondered how much the organisers lost. The show was located in the car park and never elevated to much more than one, with a few stands here and there. It just didn't feel like a full fledge modified car show.

The weather was absolutely scorching and so were the girls. Relatively new to the scene were the Extreme Virtual Cruise girls and jeese, were there plenty of them on one stand. Shout goes out to Grace, with massive hang over from the night before. Shout also goes out to the Kicker/Mutant X girls, Brooke Lee, Summer Skye, Francesca Lee and Nathalie Thomas for making the already hot weather, even hotter with their show on top of the Kicker Hummer. It didn't matter that they drenched everyone with their water guns, as soon as they did, they made sure it sizzled.

A big welcome to the Adrian Flux girls, who can you believe it, weren't models/promo girls at all but the very same girls who answer calls at the call centres. Either they have very good looking lasses at the call centres or it was a marketing ploy.
